MILNER DOWNS 2014 SHOWS - NOW USEF RATED!
We are pleased to advise that the 2014 Milner Downs Summer Classic II (July 16-20) and Summer Classic III (July 23-27) held in Langley, B.C. are now USEF qualified competitions (B Ratings). Competitors from the U.S. can collect points and compete to qualifty in U.S. Medal classes. We have been approved for the Possoa U.S. Hunt Seat Medal and the U.S. Pony Medal classes. We have also applied to host the ASPCA MACLAY Medal and the Ariat National Adult Medal. The ASPCA MACLAY Medal will be a qualifier for the ASPCA MACLAY Regional Finals in Monroe, Wash.
For those not familiar with Milner Downs we have been hosting Gold rated Equine Canada Hunter/Jumper shows under new management for the past 8 years. All jumpers compete in grass rings and we have one large kidney shaped grass ring for the Hunters, the Ashley Reber Field. Top judges from around North America consistently comment on our Hunter field being one of the top Hunter Show Rings around! Its uniqueness creates some of the best Hunter Derby Classes in North America. Our July shows include 4 Hunter Derbies with approx. $ 20,000 in prize money.
Our 2014 prize list will be similar to our 2013 prize list (still on our web site) but will now include U.S. classes and willl have prize money in the range of $ 70,000. The 2014 prize list will be completed soon and published on our web site.
